RED WING, MN (January 2008) — Irish Setter Mountain Claw King Toe boots offer king-size toe room. The high volume toe box’s additional space provides increased comfort and warmth. Before now, King Toe was only available in select Red Wing Shoe styles. Because Red Wing Shoe Company is Irish Setter’s parent company, Irish Setter was able to utilize this popular feature in their rugged hunting boots. The King Toe allows feet to stretch out and enjoy 44% more toe box room than standard boots. The Irish Setter Mountain Claw KT #2832 features 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation, Realtree All-Purpose HD camo, dark brown leather, ScentBan and a UltraDry waterproof membrane. This 10” boot has a suggested retail price of $119. The Mountain Claw KT #2866 bumps up the insulation to 800 grams and sports a Mossy Oak Break Up Camo/Brown leather upper. Its’ retail price is $129. “We saw the huge success Red Wing was having with the King Toe boots and realized that our hunters would appreciate that extra room too.
